Our aim is for pupils to be involved as decision makers within the school community.
The council meets regularly during the term, usually every two or three weeks depending on the number of agenda items. In the past we have been involved in the structure of the “Behaviour Policy,” fund raising, collecting vouchers, the provision of drinks machines, outdoor play equipment and facilities like the “tyre areas,” ordering library books and many other activities which have had a direct impact on life at Bilton School.

Being on the school council is an important job, and it isn’t easy. Children learn to be good school councillors and how to make a real difference in our school.
