Visitors nearly always comment that the school has a great feel and provides a lovely, supportive and positive environment within which children flourish. Our pupils are well behaved and on task in lessons.
Major improvements have taken place in recent years. Curricular developments have enabled pupil achievement to rise to levels above local and national averages.
“All pupils make good progress through the school, especially those with learning difficulties and/or disabilities. Pupils’ spiritual, moral, social and cultural development is outstanding and they are well prepared for their future as adults. All aspects of provision in the EYFS are outstanding.”

Other sections of this website detail some of our children's fantastic achievements. Bilton Primary School is lucky to have very talented and creative pupils. We make every effort to develop and nurture their talents.
We have greatly extended the extra- curricular opportunities available. Clubs now include the Art Club, Recorder Club, Gardening Club, ICT Club, Drama Club, Infants Sports Club, School Council, Judo Club plus highly successful representative teams for Football, Rugby, Tennis, Netball, Swimming and Athletics.
Bilton Primary School makes every effort to link itself with its immediate community and has close contacts with local industry, the Parish Council, St. Peter's Church, the Royal British Legion and many other organisations in the Bilton area.
We are lucky to have extremely supportive parents who back us one hundred per cent with issues such as school uniform policy, behaviour policy and educational visits. Their presence is always valued in school. Some parents help in lessons and most others support us by attending consultation evenings, productions, visits and sporting events.
The Friends of Bilton School is largely made up of parent volunteers. This charitable organisation raises thousands of pounds for the benefit of our pupils. (See their section on this site for further details.)
Bilton Primary School's Governing Body is led by Rev. Richard Major who is the vicar of our local church, St. Peter's. Richard and the other Governors are an active group who lead and support the school's staff team effectively.
As the Headteacher of Bilton Community Primary School I know that, thanks to the endeavours of the talented staff team and others listed above, we have a very good school that all of us are proud of. Parents know that the staff team and I are very accessible. Prospective parents are very welcome to ring the school to arrange a viewing.
