The committee has 16 members who are elected annually at the Annual General Meeting. Members consist of school staff and parents of children attending the school, however friends and relatives are also welcomed.

The committee meet formally once a term. At this meeting they vote on issues such as new purchases and school donations, organise and facilitate forthcoming F.O.B.S. events and generate new fundraising ideas.

With the generosity and support of parents, teachers, the local community and businesses, F.O.B.S. has raised over £40,000 to meet its aims!

The key function of F.O.B.S. is to benefit the pupils of Bilton Primary School.

Over the last 14 years F.O.B.S. have purchased a range of playground and sporting equipment, library books, paid for artists to work in the school, computers, nursery play equipment and classroom furniture.

They organise events such as discos, and have funded a number of theatrical children's workshops. They also provide the food and children's entertainment for our annual Christmas parties. 

F.O.B.S. raise money from activities they organise such as sponsored events, an Annual Summer Fair, Magic Shows and Social evenings.

As the main event of the year the Summer Fair is held on a Saturday in July. The fair has many attractions for all the family including children's rides, bouncy castles, sideshows, stalls and raffles, car boot sales, tombola, refreshments, local celebrities and entertainment. A successful event supported by local businesses and the Bilton community.
